Normally applicants with rent arrears or other housing related debt from either a current or former tenancy will not be allocated a tenancy by Doncaster HomeChoice until they have cleared these arrears.

Every case is considered on its merits and where there are extenuating circumstances, applicants may be offered a tenancy.

This will primarily apply to applicants in platinum, gold and silver bands and in all cases it is expected that an agreed repayment plan is in place with regular payments being maintained before an offer is made.

If you have rent arrears from a property you previously rented from Doncaster Council or St  Leger Homes of Doncaster, please contact St Leger Homes 01302 862627 to make arrangements to clear them.
